It was cute the first 10 times....not so much now
Okay, my child has learned to blow raspberries. She learned it a long time ago and then apparently forgot she knew how. Three days ago she started it again and hasn't stopped since then! She does it nonstop for 10 minutes at a time. Some stranger leaned down to tell her how cute she was at the store yesterday and she blew a raspberry in his face! I was mortified! We went to Chuck E. Cheese today with one of our mommy groups and we were all sitting on the floor in the toddler area chatting and she started doing it. I snapped a photo of her "mid-berry"!
We are fighting MAJOR separation anxiety. She screams like her toenails are being pulled out. It breaks my heart so bad. We left her this evening with my mom while we went to an HOA meeting. She seemed to do fine, but the minute we got home, she wanted ME to hold her. Not her daddy...MOMMY. And she cried and cried and cried when we put her to bed this tonight. As I type this, she is in bed with her daddy because she was freaking out in her bed. I even pulled the sheets back to make sure there weren't bugs in there stinging her because of the way she was acting.
Well...off to bed. Hope that everyone managed to stay dry tonight!

Before I had Grayson I sold a home for a lady and at the closing her daughter was so sweet calling Mommy, Mommy...Well when I said oh how sweet that is, Kim said just wait your turn is coming. It is super sweet at first but when you want to get something done, it isn't sweet anymore! Well I do feel that way every once in a while and when I start to get that feeling, I think how in a few more years he might be embarased to have me around! I hope not, but for the time being, I just savor every moment I can.
The raspberry thing is hilarious. She'll grow tired of it after a while and stop. I keep telling myself that about things Caroline is doing lately. Like when she runs around the house so many times I think she's going to wear a track in the house!
